Part.1
Recruiting Position:Deputy Editor-in-Chief or Senior Editor (Full Time in China)
Working Location: Shanghai, China
Cell Regeneration is a fully Open Access journal officially affiliated with the Chinese Society for Cell Biology (CSCB). The Cell Regeneration Shanghai office is seeking a Deputy Editor-in-Chief or a Senior Editor. The position will be offered based on the candidate’s experience.
The successful candidate will work full-time in the editorial office located in Shanghai, China, and will coordinate with the Editor-in-Chief to oversee the manuscript peer review. The candidate will be also expected to assist the Editor-in-Chief to recruit high-quality papers and increase the impact of the journal.

Main responsibilities:
To manage the editorial office and work collaboratively and productively to ensure sustainable and smooth publication of the journal.
To work with our editorial board members to provide timely and professional editorial and publishing support to authors.
To establish and maintain excellent relationships with the researchers (potential authors, readers, reviewers) in the field.
To assess articles submitted to the journal from different areas of the discipline, select and invite reviewers, and make recommendations to the handling editor for the editorial decisions based on reviewers’ reports.
To assist in the organization of thematic series (special issues) and content commissioning for the journal.
To create and implement strategic developing plans to achieve the editorial objectives and divisional goals of the journal at the different stages of the journal’s development.
To travel throughout China to meet Chinese scientists, attend editorial board meetings and academic conferences as required; To prepare reports and present them.
Preferred qualifications:
A science background in stem cell, regenerative biology, or related fields with a Ph.D. degree.
Extensive experience in preparing research manuscripts, strong publication record in English journals.
Prior experience in scientific editing or journal publishing, management, and development is required
A responsible and collaborative personality with excellent relationship and communication skills with different parties, including the relevant government departments that manage academic journals.
Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese.
Commercial awareness with a good understanding of the academic journal publishing business and process.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
High motivation with the executive ability to resolve issues.

(一)崗位職責(zé)
1.稿件初審、送審和總結(jié)撰寫(xiě)審稿意見(jiàn)。
2.與一線科學(xué)家交流，約寫(xiě)評(píng)述、綜述及高水平的研究論文等。
3.撰寫(xiě)學(xué)術(shù)新聞、英文宣傳材料等，在國(guó)內(nèi)外宣傳期刊等。

(二)應(yīng)聘條件
1.獲得細(xì)胞生物學(xué)、生物化學(xué)，或分子遺傳等相近專業(yè)博士學(xué)位，有干細(xì)胞、組織器官再生等相關(guān)學(xué)習(xí)或工作經(jīng)歷者優(yōu)先考慮。
2.在國(guó)際知名期刊上以第一作者身份至少發(fā)表過(guò)1篇以上有影響力的研究論文。
3.經(jīng)培訓(xùn)后能基本獨(dú)立完成科學(xué)編輯的工作內(nèi)容;有編輯工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先考慮。
4.具有良好的中文和英文交流、寫(xiě)作和編輯能力，熱愛(ài)科技編輯事業(yè)，有良好的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作意識(shí)。

Recruiting Position:Scientific Editor
Working Location: Shanghai, China
Cell Regeneration is an English scientific journal published by the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, aiming to become a premium international journal publishing high-quality articles in modern biology, especially in the field of stem cell and the basic research of regenerative science. We are currently recruiting a full-time scientific editor to join the Cell Regeneration team in Shanghai. A competitive salary and benefits will be provided, depending on the background and experiences.
Successful candidates will be involved in editorial daily work.

Responsibilities will include:
1. Initially assessing submitted papers, sending out for peer review, and summarizing review opinions.
2. Actively interacting with front-line researchers, and commissioning a diverse variety of insightful review- and commentary-type content and high-level research papers, etc.
3. Writing academic news, preparing English publicity materials, etc., and promoting the journal globally.
4. Providing immediate and satisfactory supports to the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor-in-Chief in all aspects of journal related work.
Preferred qualifications:
1.The expertise with a Ph.D. in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, or related areas. Education background or work experience in stem cells or organ regeneration would be a plus.
2.A strong publication record in the recognized scientific journals. At least one first-author publication in the well-known journals is required for applying for this position.
3.The ability to successfully work independently after training. Prior editorial experience would be preferred but not required.
4. A good command of Chinese and English in writing and editing, a keen interest in science and editorial work, and a good sense of responsibility and collaboration.
